5 easy craft ideas using recycled Lolly, Twister & ice cream sticks Crafts and Activities That Utilize Upcycled Materials

Are you seeking for kid-friendly suggestions for activities to do at home? In these five kid-friendly #ChapmansCrafts, get inventive and try recycling Chapman’s Lolly, Twister, and Super Ice Cream sticks! These environmentally friendly crafts are also excellent for recycling leftover craft supplies you already have lying around the house.

1 -Picture Frame

These Super ice cream sticks can be painted in amusing patterns, embellished with buttons or stickers, or left unadorned. Sticks can be stacked in various layers for a wonderful 3-D effect! Add a magnet to the rear of the tabletop frame to transform it into a magnetic refrigerator frame rather than using sticks to support it.

2 -Mini Flowerpot

What a wonderful experience it will be for your children to watch their very own plant develop in a flowerpot they made themselves! Using glue as you go, cover an old plastic Play-Doh container with a rectangle of felt that is long enough to wrap around the container. Create a design around the body of the pot by adhering your painted ice cream sticks from the Canadian Collection and tiny rocks or diamonds.

3. Butterfly

To finish your insect’s body, cut out some butterfly wings from felt or foam, and glue them on top of the Canadian Collection stick. The distinctive proportions of the sticks from our Canadian Collection will give your butterfly’s body more depth. Include antenna and additional ornaments of your choice. This is a terrific activity for recycling leftover ribbon, pipe cleaners, felt, and other materials. Glue two googly eyes to your colourful butterfly for an additional level of fun.

4.Floating Raft

This craft has two purposes: it can also be used as a water activity for tonnes of backyard enjoyment! The distinctive cylinder-shaped sticks that come with our Twister water ice snacks make them ideal for crafts. They can serve as the foundation for your raft. Glue the sticks on a square piece of craft foam to keep the raft floating. Another square of craft foam should have two holes cut into it—one in each corner. A sail for your raft can be created by inserting a Twister stick into the foam. Glue two long, flat Super ice cream sticks to either side of the base of the sail to connect it to the raft. Decorate the sails of each child’s raft using stickers, jewels, and markers to make it unique.

5.Flower Vase

You can use one of these containers to fill it with water to nourish fresh cut flowers by glueing your painted Super or Lolly sticks around the outside of it. Seashells were utilised on our vase to create a charming beach theme with the metallic blue paint. Once the sticks are in place and the glue has had time to dry, glue on your embellishments. This vase may be used to contain other crafting supplies such pencil crayons, markers, or scissors as well as making a wonderful handmade gift for family and friends.
