 10 FUN CRAFTS FOR KIDS USING RECYCLED MATERIALS

Since it was recently Earth Day, I thought it’d be a beautiful idea to put together a collection of craft ideas for kids that can be produced from stuff in your recycle box! We’re always thinking of crafts we can make together, activities we might attempt, and experiments we could perform. Giving kids a variety of materials and letting them use their imaginations to explore what they can create is a terrific method to teach them to limit the amount of garbage we toss away.

1. Ladybird Egg Box Bugs

These adorable little eggbox ladybirds are so adorable! When it comes to crafts, egg boxes are quite versatile, and these little bugs would make a great project for younger kids to enjoy! They also look so cute hanging from your plant pots!

2. Toilet Roll Tubes Giraffe Marionette

These toilet roll giraffe marionettes are wonderful, and toilet roll tubes are another incredibly useful creative resource! Although they appear to be constructed of many materials, they actually contain relatively few! The ideal rainy-day activity, and they’d be great for putting on a puppet show as well!


3. Milk Bottle Watering Cans

My two oldest children have been battling over the watering can for the past few days, so I couldn’t have found this milk bottle watering can craft at a better time! (They have a serious obsession with watering the plants. Additionally, there are usually plenty of milk bottles because we drink a lot of milk in this family. You can’t beat a fun activity that doubles as a helpful craft!


4. Plastic Bottle Cat Storage Pots

These plastic bottle cat storage pots are so charming, and I’ve always loved the concept of creating adorable small storage pots from bottles. Older kids will love making them, and they may use them for storage in their rooms afterward. Once more, this exercise only requires a few ingredients and produces a very useful outcome. adore them

5. Cardboard Dollhouse/Dinohouse

I think I’ve found the cutest playhouse ever with this one! It’s so adorable, I can’t believe it’s homemade or even if my kids and I could ever create something so sweet! This cardboard dinosaur/dollhouse is fantastic! 

6. Newspaper & Card Fish

We absolutely love making homemade cards in the house, and will do it for absolutely any occasion! I love the idea of using up scraps of card and newspaper to make this adorable fish card! (I’ll be honest, our recycling bins are constantly filled with scrap bits of card and paper, so this idea is perfect!)

7. Toilet Roll Tube Cars

Making toilet roll vehicles is our most recent craft project in this home. Toilet paper rolls are by far the most useful craft material, as I already explained. There are countless opportunities! These toilet roll cars are great since they require very little materials and may be played with afterward.

8. Robot Junk Modelling

This amazing robot rubbish modelling project is certainly for you if you have a lot of cardboard boxes, tubes, and foil. It’s a wonderful exercise to spark your child’s creativity, and who wouldn’t want to build their very own adorable robot? 


9.Sweet Wrapper Mosaics

I never, ever throw away the Christmas candy wrappers because they are simply too lovely, am I right? At last, I know how to use them effectively and allow my kids to make some lovely sweet wrapper mosaics! They are absolutely beautiful! 

10.Toilet Roll Tube Cats

Last but not least, check out these adorably cute animals made out of toilet paper tubes! Not many materials are needed, and the end result is extremely, truly lovely! The ideal choice for any cat-loving family, and your kids can even start their own cat clan! Or perhaps they might try basing them on their own cats? What a sweet concept.
